Land - The Galveston Yacht Club & Yacht Basin located 45 miles
south of Houston, Texas. Galveston Island is located at the
southern most point of Interstate 45 (US 75). Galveston Island
can also be reached via FM 3005 from the west or Highway 87 from
the Bolivar Peninsula from the east. The Texas Department of
Highways operates a free ferry, with service to and from the
Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston Island.
From Houston, take I45 S. to
Port Industrial Blvd. As you continue, Port Industrial Blvd.
will change to Avenue A and again to Water Street. When you
reach Holiday Drive, turn left. |
